One of the most wretched, enervating experiences of adulthood is the fact that we constantly have to try to sell ourselves. I’ve always hated competing and I’ve always hated myself, so you can just imagine how this makes me feel all the time.
At the very least, let’s just say it makes me want to go bathe in that chocolate river from Willy Wonka’s factory.

My name is Joseph Dante and I’m a writer from South Florida. I once wrote a collective creative writing project known as Letters for Burning (a project about characters writing unsent letters that were meant for the fire), but now I’m trying to get published elsewhere.
My main passions used to center around energy burnt for escape, but now I’m trying my hardest to find home in them instead: in the pages of books, the ink of written words, the dust of memories, the pixels of the internet.
